Workshop on Clinical Translation of Flash Therapy |
To stimulate the clinical translation of FLASH therapy, Switzerland’s Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and ISREC foundation are organising on the 15th of September 2022 a one Day Multidisciplinary Workshop gathering distinguished international experts for FLASH. CERN and CHUV are collaborating to develop an innovative electron FLASH radiotherapy facility that would deliver high radiation doses in milliseconds instead of minutes. |

HITRIplus (Heavy Ion Therapy Research Integration) aims to propel research on cancer treatment with heavy ions forward by developing cutting-edge technologies. Lowering costs and dimensions, the project’s new generation of compact instruments could grant European companies an edge to address the potentially growing global ion therapy market. HITRIplus is research project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme. |
