TA call #14 is open until 31 May! |
|
The 14th call for proposals is still open until 31 May 2025. Submit your proposals for EU-funded beam time (heavy ions, protons, neutrons, alternative) now! The list of the available facilities for the call can be found on our TA website.
Please note that this is the second-to-last opportunity to apply for EU-funded beam time, as the RADNEXT project is progressively coming to an end. We have 1 full call (all beam types) left in September 2025 and 1 partial call (based on beam/facility availability) in January 2026. Don't miss your chance!
As always, if you need technical support regarding beam time proposals and experiments, you can contact our User Support Expert (USE) team. |

Survey - help us shape the future of space technology in Europe! |
|
The European Commission has launched a survey to gather valuable information on the needs of high-energy irradiation testing facilities for space applications in the EU.
We are kindly asking for your input to the survey, which will play a crucial role in informing the development of this facility, including our sister project HEARTS, and ultimately in supporting the creation of a state-of-the-art high-energy irradiation facility that meets the needs of the European space industry.
The survey is open until 6 June. A big thank you in advance for your valuable input! |

Annual Meeting |
We had a fantastic time at the 4th RADNEXT Annual Meeting, which was held from 12-13 May at GANIL in Caen, France. Over two packed days, we:
- showcased RADNEXT’s achievements from the past years
- strategized for the final year of EU-funded beam time
- brainstormed a follow-up proposal #RADNEXT2030 to further expand access to radiation effects testing at research infrastructures across Europe and beyond
The event also featured a great site visit to GANIL and a lovely social dinner. Huge thanks to all who joined for their valuable contributions! |

G-RADNEXT 2025 |
On 14 and 15 May 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting the 4th edition of our G-RADNEXT Workshop at GANIL in Caen, France.
This engaging two-day, in-person workshop united a vibrant group of participants for insightful discussions and meaningful collaboration. In total, more than 100 people joined (90+ on-site and 20+ remotely), mostly from industry and irradiation facilities but also from space agencies and universities.
Highlights included great talks, an inspiring panel discussion, a site visit to GANIL and a lively social dinner—all of which fostered even more connection and conversation among attendees.
Thank you to all who participated and in particular to our G-RADNEXT organisation committee for making this a great event. We are already looking forward to welcoming you at the next edition!
